Always by your Side

Phuong is sick, he has leukaemia. We meet him and his mother in the pediatric service of a hospital where the young boy shares his room with three other children and their mothers. After the session of chemiotherapy, Phuong and his mother can go home for a week so that he can be with his family and friends again. Back in the village, we discover just what financial difficulties his illness is causing the family. In this world of sick children and their mothers, the hospital room becomes a universe of its own where each new day is a victory gained over the illness.
